PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES & BROAD FUNCTION

In-Charge Stores is responsible for all consumable material required for the production. His duty is to check and keep the stock position up to date and inform the Manager well in advance, if there is any shortage or emergency of any material.

  • Paper Store Stock (including making of fortnightly stock report for G.M.)
  • Ink Store Stocks (including making of monthly report of stock for G.M.)
  • Printing Plates Stock (including making of monthly report of stock for G.M.)
  • Checking and receiving all the material purchased from local market.
  • Sharpening of cutting knifes for the paper cutting machines.
  • Packing and delivery of Final Printed Stuff, according to the customers’ requirement in consultation with Manager Admn..
  • Checking of weight of wooden boxes, Stenciling / Labeling / Sealing / Strapping and Loading.
  • To make Gate passes of all items duly verified by Assistant Production Manager (except Gate passes of CCS items which are made by DGM)
    To keep inventory/Record of equipment & machinery including components like motor, Compressors.
    To make Gate passes of items which are returned like machine knifes, Motor send for repair and machine parts etc. A separate Gate pass book should be maintained for such items. Moreover monthly report to be prepared for DGM of all items, which have not returned.
    Daily delivery report for Manager Admn
  • Destruction of waste jointly with Chief Production Manager.
